Ins and outs of the moment! :-)

Ins:

School- most people who go to school hate it but I love school!
I loved seeing my friends on Thursday.

Sunny weather - typical that it's sunny whilst i'm busy scribbling stuff down in a classroom but never the less, its still hot and sunny!

Autumn - as much as I love summer, I'm actually quite excited to start wrapping up warm with wooly jumpers, scarves etc.

Good music - lots of good music out at the moment, such as, Sky Ferreira - One, Travie Mccoy - Billionaire, Eminem - Love the way you lie

M.A.C Sable eyeshadow - love this.

Outs:

Ultimate Big Brother - its rubbish! these housemates make it boring and its not the same since Josie left.

My house being colder than it is outside - my house is freezing at the moment! I might as well live outside seeing as its warmer.

Laptop battery going - My laptops only just over a year old and its gone already. I'll have to fork out £40 for a new one at some point.

Losing another of my fave earrings - I bought another earring after I lost the first one, and now i've lost that one too. Im so rubbish with earrings.

Bargins - and some not so bargins - of the week! ♥

Hello my sugarplum fairys!

Hope everyone is doing fantastically :) I certainly am!
Finally, its my summer holidays so I have 6 weeks to do whatever I want! Whoooo!
So, its only a weekend in and i'm already bored :( so i thought to myself
'What a perfect time to do a blog post' :)
so thats exactly what im doing!
So, I did a spot of shopping, got some bargins and then some lush stuff! Yaaay :D

Anyway, moving on to Boots! I felt very proud of myself! I merely browsed at the makeup counters whilst I told myslef not to buy anything! haha

a very boring post... but it includes a discount!

Hey loveliesssssss
so i dont have that much to talk about but I havent done a post in agessssssssss!

Anyway,
i guess i'll start out with something that I have found. I have 2 lipstick 'dupes' for you.
They are both dupes for MAC ones so heres the first one:



This is a dupe for the 'viva glam gaga' lippy which is one of my favourites! I love it and prefer it to the one im comparing it to but if you miss out on it this could be pretty comparable. It's not EXACTLY the same by no means but its still pretty similar and I like this one a lot!



This is the dupe, and it is a Miss Sporty one in 'Innocence'. It is quite sheer and the smell isnt too good either but I still like this a lot. The finish of it is a bit different but its still very similar.



This is the 'viva glam gaga' on me. Its obviously nicer than the other one.

Then, I have one thats spookily similar to MAC's Warm Me Up from the Warm and Cosy collection.

So here it is:




So this one is a Revlon one in 'Mauve It Over'. This is a matte lipstick so again, the finish is different but I like this lipstick. Both of these are my mums and I actually nicked this one for a while ;) shhhh
Its a gorgeous colour and I love it!



So, this is it on me and you can see, it is very matte! If you wanted shine just slick some gloss over the top and your sorted ;)



This MAC's 'Warm Me up' which is beautiful and obviously limited edition so if you wanted this go get the Revlon one! :)

Anyway, im grieving...
for the loss of my beautiful KCo bronzer.
I love Kco stuff after i purchased some at the Clothes Show last year!
I got a matte bronzer which is my favourite matte bronzer and I recently hit pan :(
Anyway, this shimmery one which I use now its summer cracked today when I opened it.
I almost cried!

I love the brand KCo and I dont think it gets enough recognition.
It's quite pricey but brilliant products and I love them.

April Favourites!

Hello my lovely ladies :)
Hope you are all doing well. I certainly am not at the moment.
Today is Wednesday 5th May, and I have not been to school today due to a banging headache everytime I stand up! However, I have been watching many YouTube videos and reading blog posts and have just watched one of Busted's songs! Oh, how I miss them... ;)
So thats a little update about me for ya ;)

Anyway, as you can probably tell, I'm doing my April favourites!
I know it might be a little bit late (?) but I'm going to do it anyway!
So, I have a few (by a few, I mean A LOT!) different things to talk about and this is my first 'favourites' video on my blog so here goes!

No7 Extreme Length Mascara:
My favourite mascara EVER. I love this. I love the wand it has as it is small and bendy and gets right in to the corner of the eye to grab those almost-none-existant eyelashes. It is really black and makes my eyelashes really long! I thankfully have 2 of these small ones (available with the free gifts you get when you spend a certain amount of money on No7) that my grandma kindly gave when she only wanted the skin care stuffs.

E.L.F Eyelid Primer:
Okay, so to be honest, I think people pay so much money on eyelid primers its crazy! So I know people are might hate on me for this and I have never tried the Urban Decay Primer Potion but I think this could be as good as the UDPP *cowers in corner*. I might think totally differently if I try it and probably would but I can't afford to spend that much money of something that you can get for a fraction of the price. This E.L.F primer dosent make my eyeshadow crease and makes the colours a lot more vibrant! Sorry if you disagree...

17 Eyeshadow in Mardi Gras:
This eyeshadow is one of my favourite eyeshadows out my bunch. These are really cheap and retail at about £3.50 (i think) and this is the best colour out the ones I own from 17. I often wear this alone when I'm being lazy and it looks just as effective as with other colours in the crease and outer corner. It looks great with just eyeliner and a coat or two of mascara. Love it.

E.L.F Studio Eyebrow Kit in Dark:
This is great for the amount of money it is. It really leaves my eyebrows look defined and they stand out. When I have it on it kinda reminds of Lady Gaga's eyebrows in 'Telephone'! I love this and i love the little brush that goes with it (a small double sided angled brush and powder brush) which are so cute and really soft.

17 Blush and Glow in Strawberry Swirl (L.E)
I am so gutted that these were limited edition as I got this one quite late as it is :( I should've tried to grab another one but at the moment this is my 'go to' blusher as it is a gorgeous colour and the 'white' bit is shimmery and leaves your cheek bones looking highlighted and lovely. It also gives a nice glow to your skin.

MAC lipstick in Angel (Frost):
This is my all time favourite lipstick! It goes fab with my skintone and I reckon it would go with most skin tones. It is so creamy and leaves my lips feeling really moisturized when i put it on. I'm sure most people have this and I will definiatly be snapping up another one of these when I run out! However, right now I'm saving it and using up my other lippies as I have a few I dont wear. Oopies! Btw, I heard this was the one Kim Kardashian uses a lot?

Rimmel London Colour Show Off lipstick in Tell No One:
First of all, these smell DELICIOUS! They smell like fruit and yummy goodness! I love it. This colour is unlike none in my collection and is a lovely sort of coral colour. I had been looking for the perfect coral colour and then I found this. I think this would suit every skin tone and would be a perfect substiute for red. I find this is a really strong colour so I tend to put a bit in the centre and even it out in the centre. Its gorgeous if your looking for a pop of colour and the perfect shade for spring/summer!

Sleek IDivine Pallette in Sunset:
I have this pallette in original and I find I use and like this pallette a lot more due to the more neutral colours in it. They are all shimmery but not too crazy like the original is but just the right amount. They have one or two matte colours in them and I do personally like matte colours so I wished it had more. But hey ho. Its really lovely to create a natural, easy look or a vibrant, colourful look. The colours blend really well and are all very pigmented (especially the black!) Love this one!

So that is all of my favourites! Sorry if it got boring but I thought
it would be a perfect oppertunity to do a post as I had some free time.
Anyway, I still feel horrible so I'm going to sleep now!

I really appriceate having people listening to what I have to say, even if half of it is a load of ramble!
I think think this is brilliant way of making friends just like on YouTube but I prefer this as it is a lot easier to just type and upload pictures (although i still love making videos!)

I miss you...

So, one of my friends died last year and yesterday it was her death anniversary. I can't believe it had been a year, and I was no where near close to her but when I found out about her death, I cried so much, I had to leave class the next day. I hardly even knew her and I really wished i'd had the confidence to talk to her and get to know her but then I moved schools and it was too late. However, it came as such a shock and I knew how popular and loved she was. She was/still is one of the bravest and most beautiful people I have ever met and I love her and I am so proud of her. Lauren, I love you so much and I miss you like crazy. I wish I could see you just once more but I am so glad you don't have to go through anymore pain.

FOTD: Lazy day whilst on my hols! And some chit chat

So as you know from the title I'm on my jollys :)
No where exotic unfortunatly but at our lovely house that my mum and stepdad bought 1 or 2 years ago! They've done it up brilliantly and its such a cute little bungalow!

As it was absolutley peeing it down earlier so when it eventually brightened up we went to the seaside!! :) We went to Calgary Beach and I had my brilliant wellington booties on and splashed around in the sea! My dog Bob also had a lovely time:

Anyways... later we had friends round and had dinner and we had some wine (oops naughty me!) And just chilled out! And now the 'rents have gone to see a band and left me with the grand 'rents! So I decided to bugger off in to my room and have some quality time with me, Lady Gaga and Blogger! haha.

A Maybelline Review...

Hello everyone :)
Hope your all well!

So, im going to do a review on the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid foundation. I have been using this for probably just over a month now, and I have to say I really like this!

I apply this with... my fingers! :O
Yes, my fingers! I find these are the best tools for me with this foundations and they blend it very nicely. I then use my kabuki brush just to make sure its all buffed and blended in well. Also, if i didint do this, when touched my face it gives a feel that it would come off again (and that isnt a nice feeling-trust me!) but once ive used my kabuki (the purple one from primark) and a powder (GOSH translucent powder) it feels like its all locked in... if that makes sense! haha.

It also gives a very good coverage and when its on it feels like you have nothing on yours face but there obviously is! I know some people might not like that but personally I do because I like the feeling of nothing on my face.

The colour is use, which is sand, really goes well with the rest of my skin colour which is kind of olive but a bit lighter and my face is inbetween pale and olive. I never seem to tan on my face :( but oh well!

Anyway over all, I really like this foundation! I would say it is the best foundation I've used for the coverage it gives and the lightness of it!
Oh and did I mention that it is £7.99? AND I got it for £5.99! Barginicious ;)
